Tapapprove

Approve Claude Code’s permission prompts from your Apple Watch.

The problem

Claude Code stops and waits at a permission prompt. If you have stepped away from the desk, the work stalls until you come back.

What I built

1. A Claude Code hook and a command line tool you start with npx tapapprove.
2. An Apple Watch app with four answers: Yes, Yes for this session, No, or tell Claude what to do instead.
3. End-to-end encryption: the relay passes messages along but cannot read or approve anything.
4. Pairing with a 20-character code that works once and expires in 10 minutes.
